I typically do not enjoy books that talk about social media, but this one is an exception to that rule. I think the YouTube aspect wasn’t overdone. I enjoy the way Kris writes the banter between characters. I disagree with others who have said that the friend group was annoying, but I did read this more slowly than other books so if you read it all at once I could maybe see these characters being a little more annoying. I have read Book Boyfriend and enjoyed the dialogue in that book as well, though I didn’t enjoy that one as much as this one. This book has made me commit to reading at least 2 more Kris Ripper novels.

This isn’t my first Carina Adores book and I think some of the ones I have read tend to have a trend where there isn’t  a real conflict. The only conflict in this seems to be Declan’s avoidance of his anxiety. The third act break up felt like it really didn’t need to happen to get us where we ended up.
