This novel started off so strong, and then got SO BORING. I stopped 392 pages in and it felt like we were still on chapter one. Just so much unnecessary dialogue and scenes that felt like filler, rather an world-building. I think this novel would have been better either edited down to be shorter or split into 2 or 3 books or something.
