When I want a cozy thriller (is that a thing?) Mary Higgins Clark is my go-to. Or whoever’s writing in her style these days. This definitely sounds like Clark’s voice updated for modern technology. I’ve read Where Are the Children but don’t remember much about it, but this book stood on its own.
