Overall enjoyable, easy to read, explains lots of interesting experiments and also discusses some implications - definitely food for thought! Some of the future visions seemed a bit outlandish, some of the conclusions drawn from specific experiments are probably debatable. The part about "How does consciousness come about?" just isn't my primary field of interest and I don't feel like I gained any new insights there. Would have also enjoyed more about the topic of language and the brain, but that's a personal special interest.
