This book is from the 1960’s when diversity in England was more defined by class than anything else. I found myself with many questions about the motivations of characters, especially Hawkins, which is why this ended up being more of a plot-driven book. Any fan of King Arthur legends would like this, as long as this was viewed as a young adult book.
