Starling House is a gothic Beauty and the Beast retelling that takes place in a haunted house rather than a castle. While I enjoyed the story, I found the pacing of the story to be uneven, with most of the action taking place at the end of the novel. It was also out of my comfort-zone genre wise, so fantasy readers may enjoy this title more than I did!
