I am really enjoying this series, Roman and Perry were complicated characters. Their first encounter starts with an argument and you know they are going to be explosive together. They both have demons from their past that explains some of their reactions. Once Roman lets Perry in, they are perfect for each other. Perry feels safe and is good for Roman, and Roman is also a safe place for Perry and helps him through his nightmares. The lace adds an element of fun. Despite how prickly these two are, they are incredibly squishy inside and I had a soft spot for both of them. It's a love story that unfolds cautiously, and takes courage for deep feelings and fears to be laid bare. I loved the happy ever after, it was really special.
