A beautifully written story by JP Sayle. I loved her style. It was soft and touching, capturing Kit’s protectiveness and quiet kindness but also capturing Jack’s exuberance and energy, while also giving us some light-hearted chuckles a la Nanna.

These two men found each other on the worst night of Jack’s life. Kit gave him the time, space, and encouragement to love himself. Be himself. To know that he is worthy of so much.

Somewhere along the way Jack’s bravery and beautiful self breaks through Kit’s protected heart. He’s not sure when exactly they went from Caregiver to a friend to more?. But when Jack steps up to help save Garfield house he finally sees the man he’s become.

These two are truly fantastic guys, both with tragic stories, that shape them into the kind and caring people they are. Surrounded by a group of fantastic friends and family.

This slow-burn romance will warm your heart.
