The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

5.0

This wonderful, remarkable book is everything you're looking for in new fantasy. You're thinking, "I'd like something to capture the exuberant feeling I got reading Harry Potter." Or, "I need something awesome to tide me over until A Dance with Dragons comes out." And you'll get that, and so much more. HP starts to seem a little childish. And GRRM starts to seem like he can take his thousand character epic and shove it, because Kvothe's telling a better story and is only going to make us wait long enough to sweeten the eventual end. In short: READ THIS NOW, if not sooner.
