Yeah, I know it's a young adult novel, but I loved it.

For the few who have no idea what it's about, in a post apocalyptic future the government punishes 11 rebellious cities by selecting two 'tributes' from each city, putting them in an arena and making them fight to death. The tributes can range from age 12-18 and no one in the cities is safe from being selected.

Our hero Katnis volunteers for the games after her younger sister is chosen.

There is a pretty good setting here for the three part trilogy and I hope it carries out.

When Katnis sang to the tribute that dies in her arms, I cried.

Very moving and a great read.
