Whimsical books are my absolute favourites, especially if they're full of magic and nature. This book had all the components to become my favourite book, however I was a little bit underwhelmed. Yes, everything was very well thought through and the written prose was very beautiful, but the book felt like constant build up with very little coherent explanation. I might need to re read it to understand much of the ending.
