Paige just goes through it, in this book. That's probably the only reason why I was happy it was a shorter book compared to others. (I know what Samantha said about this book, and I am sure it was terrible for her writing those scenes in the way she did, so I am definitely thankful for that.) But be prepared to grit your teeth and get through this one! It would also help to know - the bad times don't last.
