A Widow for One Year by John Irving

3.0

Only ok. Sort of annoying, actually. I found Ruth Cole to be barely believable -- maybe because I don't know anyone with such a 17 year old thought process regarding relationships, but that may be just me and my friends. Some parts were enjoyable, and I liked the Amsterdam subplot, but mostly had little to no sympathy for any of the characters, and just wanted to see what happened next.
