Dating Dr. Dil by Nisha Sharma
5.0
I don’t know if it is because I’ve fallen in love with both Prem and Kareena but I have absolutely no negative comments about this book.
Kareena is in my top 5 contemporary rom-com heroines. Everything about her personality I enjoy. I wish she was my friend in real life.
The plot? Wonderfully real and fun! I audibly laughed at times. Also, it addressed, head on, the expectations and realities of American desi communities (especially woman in the communities) face despite the novel being a rom-com. (It didn’t address all or the variety as they are more complex and varied but it touched on them.)
The romance? A+! And the tension? So well written.
For someone who doesn’t say “I love you” Prem has a fantastic way of showing it.
The spice?
