If Enchanted and Legally Blonde had a musical theater inspired foreign island mash-up packed with hope, joy, faith, and yes, positivity, it would be this story. Often underestimated due to her cheerful princess-like personality, Penelope's journey hit me square in the heart. A bit of mystery, a celebration of history, more songs than you can shake a stick at, bicycling, twirling, decedent baked goods, and much, much more make this book one that will exceed expectations in the best, most inspiring, and deeply encouraging fashion (oh yes, can't forget the fashion!) I highly recommend this story and its sister story Authentically, Izzy and eagerly anticipate the next Mt. Airy meets Skymar adventure (aka romance but don't tell Luke)!
