The wonderful thing about this novel is that, despite its subject, it's full of hope. It goes to show that suicidal people don't really want to die, they're just looking for a good enough reason to live. For Aysel and Roman to be able to find and give each other hope might help some other people dealing with depression see that there is still some beauty in the world. I know it did help me feel a little better for a while.
