I don't know how, but somehow I was able to read this with fresh eyes? Was I not giving this book my full attention the first time I read it, because wow.

Anyway, it's even better the second time around. Remains a 5-star read for me.

Kaz and his issues (about why he wears gloves) just absolutely breaks my fucking heart.
