The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater

4.0

The second book of The Raven Cycle that I buddy read with my friends Carolyn and Kerri was a good sequel! We had a great time reading it together.

Before everything, I think we should consider something, this is about every book I read.
Besides the difficulty of rating books on a scale of one to five, I also feel that it's not right to compare books from different genres, or writers. You know what I mean, I can't compare a children's book, romantasies or a debut novel with Victor Hugo, can I?!
So this will happen, four-star books by Victor Hugo, David Gemmel, and Adrian Tchaikovsky are better than half of the books that I have given five stars.

So

What has happened here...

The Dream Thieves was good, even great in many ways...

But

A little less sparkle than the previous one...

I don't know, maybe these two book should have been one. The one we know each character, Blue and her family, The Raven Boys, Gansey, Adam, Noah, and Ronan.
The one we know the world and the magic...

But Instead

We have the second book that completes the knowing but will not follow the story much. We faced with Gansey family and Ronan's secrets, which was very cool.

But nonetheless, almost none of the secrets of the first book are revealed.

In any case,

This wouldn't cause me to like less this series, even so now I love the characters more...

So... waiting to see how Maggie surprises us for Blue Lily, Lily Blue
