We Were Feminists Once: From Riot Grrrl to Covergirl(r), the Buying and Selling of a Political Movement by Andi Zeisler
5.0
This was my favorite book that I read during the summer of 2017. Zeisler calls attention to so many important issues in feminism today and all with a sharp sense of humor. I devoured this book and highlighted it like crazy. I think it's a great look at how feminism has been commodified as a trend and details a wide variety of examples of how that manifests itself in our culture. Well worth the read.
