I've always loved Joanna Schaffhausen's books. The story is full of actions and at a fast pace. I think Annalisa's character is you either hate or love her. She has a strong gut and is excellent at being a detective. However, she does get hung up on things in the past that annoys the crap out of me. Things such as that should hinder her ability as a detective, and yet it doesn't. Another great read.
