It was a little slow getting into, but about a third of the way into the book, it started getting really interesting. Then it got to the point when I would rather sacrifice much needed rest than not finish the book straight away.

That being said, I've just finished the whole trilogy, and I here's what I have to say about it if you're still thinking about diving in. The Divergent series is a dystopian sci-fi/action trilogy with relationships (romantic, familial and community) at its core. Only start this series if you are prepared for flawed characters (in a very real, human way), angst, pain, frustration and lots of dying.
