Ok, maybe because this is the first book like this I’ve ever read, but I loved it. The middle eastern folklore paired with a badass main character, a funny and cute love interest and a beautifully constructed world is just a perfect combo. I really like the other characters too and how the story did not shy away from cruelty for a YA novel.
