I am completely destroyed by this book….in the best possible way. Amber V Nicole is probably one of the best fantasy writers I’ve come across this year. The story has depth I cannot describe. Twists you cannot see coming. She balances action, suspense, mystery, world building, trauma, depression and relationships extremely well giving them all the time needed to build an incredible story. My heart broke so many times for all of the characters.

The different points of view in this book also added so so much to the story. I freaking love every single side character. I cannot wait to see more of The Hand, of Camilla, what happened to Niv? What will happen with Cameron and Xavair??

Holy shit….Vincent!?! That bastard. The whole time, he had been a traitor the whole fucking time.

Oh the scene with Gabby in her golden heaven form man I can’t wait to see how Unir may help with things in the next books.

Damn I know I could keep going but The Book of Azreal and The Throne of Broken Gods are a MUST reads and I cannot wait for book 3 spring of 2024!!!
