I had such high hopes for this book. Avery was such a loveable character at the beginning. However things moved much to fast between the two characters, and hatred moved to love within a few chapters. It felt pushed and like we missed out on a lot. I put Avery and Emmett in the *will be divorced in the next 5 years* category.

The spicy scenes had awkward dialogue and made me cringe more than once.

The writing also felt clunky at times and the grammar felt off.

I wanted to love this book so badly but it is getting a 1/5 stars.
