Crystal Iris by Blair M. Shadows

5.0

This book had me SO hooked. I first fell in love with it because of the cover, but the mystery that Iris had found herself in was THRILLING.
Iris is a Harvard art professor that has been in love with her childhood friend, Aaron, but recently has been doubting her feelings. They are engaged after all, so shouldn’t she feel *more*?
When she gets a present on her 30th birthday from her late mother, her whole life starts to change. She loves this necklace that her mother has given her, but it possess power that she cannot explain to others. She may not want to believe in the power, but she is finding it is hard to not. Soon she reaches Hoyt, who also has a prism that is similar to hers. They instantly have a click that goes deeper than just matching prisms.
Overall: 4.75 out of 5

There are some scenes in this book that I wish went longer as there could have been more detail. Like the date in the truck bed ;-)
