This book fell flat for me honestly. At the beginning of the book I was really hooked with the characters and the storyline but by the end I was really just trying to finish the book because I was so bored. The book felt like it was dragging for so long and don’t get me wrong it's a good book but it's not truly a great book. I feel like this would’ve done better as a novella instead of a full book because there was not that much going on with the plot. On the other hand Nora and Libby’s sister dynatic got on my nerves at different periods in this book because either Nora was trying to control what Libby did or vice versa. They were both two grown women who sometimes acted like they were 16 years old. I get that their mom died and all they knew were each other but trying to control each other's way of living was not the correct or morally right choice to make.
I loved Charlie’s character – I truly have nothing bad to say about him because is the perfect gentleman! I loved his banter and his personality and how he and Nora were perfect for each other. This book is marketed as a romance book but even the romance wasn’t always there. The major aspects of this book was Nora and Libby finding themselves. I feel like Charlie was written to help Nora when she couldn’t help herself and they both just ended up falling for each other in the process. I loved the small town aspect but I wish we got to know more of the characters from the town and have a much bigger grasp of the community.
“Until you got here,” “all this place had ever been as a reminder of the ways I was a disappointment, and now you’re here, and––I don’t know. I feel like I’m okay. So if you’re the ‘wrong kind of woman,’ then I’m the wrong kind of man.”

“For anyone who wants it all, may you find something that is more than enough.”
