theres nothing to say about this that hasnt already been said, so i wont make any comments except for the fact that this was done beautifully and i loved it.

but just one thing--i found this book so relatable on the day-to-day life things. it was exceptionally hard to read but it was so, so real! i may not be black, but if my brown ass came home with a white boyfriend my parents would probably lose their minds and treat him exactly like starr's parents do, and to be honest...it would be warranted. LOL. im proud of chris tho...if you find a white boy who doesnt try to mansplain and will protest with you, id keep him too. go starr.
