Hush by Tal Bauer

5.0

Tal Bauer writes incredible political suspense. The details, and the plot, are all meticulous. But trust me the terrorist plot isn’t the only thing that will get your heart rate up.

Tom and Mike are incredible. Tom is steadfast in his belief in the justice system and his role in it. So much so, that he has stayed in the closet in deference to his career. Until he meets one very sexy and confident Marshall Luciano. Mike is everything Tom wishes he could be. Out, proud, and successful in his career.

Tom is lovely but lonely, committed to his job and his dog. Mike is the sweetest guy there is. He’s so adorable in his crush on Tom, wearing his heart on his sleeve. Together they are adorable and passionate in equal measure.

As they are drawn into a political plot of murder and the threat of war, the only people they know they can trust are each other.

Seriously, so damn good. Through and through. There is not one thing I would have changed.

As an audiobook, I highly recommend it. Joel Leslie does a fantastic job, not only at the tone and content of the story, but also of the voices and the character personalities.
