Brody's Redemption by Kay Lyons
5.0
WOW! This is only the second book I have read by this author, but her books are so emotional, and I have enjoyed reading them. They are well written, flow smoothly, and have great story lines. Her characters are so lovable and realistic that it’s hard not to fall in love with them and their stories. Just be sure and have a box of tissues handy because they are so emotional.
Ashley Cade was a widow with a young son. She had found her way to Taylorsville, bought the Willow Wood house, and was trying repair it so she could open her dream Bed and Breakfast. With limited money and experience, she needed someone to help her. Joe Brody was finally out of prison after serving ten years for a crime he didn’t do. He was desperate for a job and no one in town would give him a chance, but when he showed up on Ashley’s door, she was desperate for help and didn’t know his history. When she learns of his past, will she give him a chance or jump to conclusions like everyone else in town did. This is the first book in the Small-Town Scandals series and I am really looking forward to reading the rest of the series. The next book is Melissa’s and it looks like another great book.
