Hello Beautiful by Ann Napolitano

5.0

I was puzzled by the book at first. It took me a bit to get hooked, I think because of the odd constellation of characters. But the more I read, the more I wanted to know about this family and their relationships.

The main characters are drawn with great care and detail. The fact that you see their lives evolve from several points of view makes you feel like you’re inside the story.

Napolitano also does an excellent job of letting you see how each character grows and evolves.

It’s not a long book, but it’s very dense and probably needs to be read at least twice to catch most of the allusions and cross references.

Highly recommend.
