I read The Housemaid last year and haven’t been tempted to pick this up bc I thought it was just going to be the same story. I really loved the first, but I didn’t wanna read it again. However, lo and behold, I did listen to this and I really enjoyed it! It wasn’t too similar to the first and I didn’t see the reveal coming (I never do). It wasn’t mind blowing or anything, but an entertaining thriller and I’ll be listening to the final instalment at some point.
