Long Island Compromise by Taffy Brodesser-Akner

4.0

3.5, rounded up. The writing is strong, and Edoardo Ballerini is an excellent narrator. Ballerini and Taffy Brodesser-Akner somehow makes the anxiety and generational trauma of the Fletchers engaging--kind of like listening to the description of a car crash. I wish we had gotten even more insight into the siblings--particularly Jenny--and the ending threw me, but overall I appreciated ("enjoyed" is not...the right word, exactly) this book.
