King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo
3.0
Okay, hear me out; 3.5 stars.
Highlights:
- Nikolai
- Zoya (surprisingly)
- Nina
- references to Six of Crows cast
- Matthias’ burial
- Hanne
Downsides:
- Plot was... well, missing, sort of? It took to long to start and when it started it wasn’t as action packed as I would’ve liked. It just... ugh I can’t believe I’m going to say this about a Leigh Bardugo book but it was kind of boring? Hope the next one is better (and that we’ll see some of the familiar faces I actually want to see - looking at you, Jarl Brum)
