A Hard Day's Write: The Stories Behind Every Beatles' Song by Steve Turner
3.0
I mean, it’s a book about The Beatles, so where else can I go besides that? Anything that can put into perspective the kind of lifestyle they lived and thought processes that led to the creation of such beautiful and world-changing songs is something interesting to read. It was a transitional book for me - basically, a book I chose just for the sake of reading - but I actually enjoyed it a lot. I was actually unaware of some of the things this book exposed and now I can’t stop listening to The Beatles. (Not that I didn’t listen to them before, it’s just that my Beatles-listening moments have a graph that has its ups and downs, and right now I am in one of these ups.)
Anyway, very insightful and extremely entertaining if you’re a Beatlemaniac or if you’re just a fan of biographies and music analysis. 3.5/5.
