1. Her characters are real and warm and their relationships (both romantic and platonic) are not only believable but so easy to root for.
2. Above all else, she prioritizes queer joy. While of course many of her characters experience realistic concerns and anxieties, their ultimate happiness in the narrative is paramount.
3. You know a happy ending is coming, but god damn if it isn't almost impossible to predict how you'll get there.
