This was a very good Little Women-inspired friends to lovers small town romance. College professor Amy has been through a string of weird boyfriends, and when one dumps her days before the semester starts, she signs a lease for the second floor of a house without asking too many questions about the owner… only to find it’s her childhood friend Theo, who she had a falling out with six years ago and hasn’t had much contact with since. But Theo and Amy and his menagerie of cats and dogs waiting to be adopted quickly all become closer than ever. This story was a fun and interesting read, with interesting side characters and plenty of drama. Would recommend!
