Easily my favorite new-to-me series in a long time. Billed as YA, I think the whole Queen's Thief series transcends that category - not because YA isn't great or sophisticated, but because I think it's incorrect. It's just great fiction that happens to fall into several potential genre categories, most of which are too easily dismissed as a result.

It's hard for me not to shove this series at everyone I know and demand they it. Immensely clever, characterful, beautifully constructed, and some of the best worldbuilding I've read.
