How to Argue With a Meat Eater by Ed Winters

5.0

I’ve read dozens of books that center around veganism and animal rights, including Ed Winters’ debut This is Vegan Propaganda, but How to Argue with a Meat Eater has a truly unique structure to it - though the information is mostly the same as in the other books.

Winters is known for the videos where he argues with meat eaters. With such skill that I, a fellow vegan, often feel a bit jealous. To teach his skill to others, he’s written this book. First there are general guidelines to effective argumentation, followed by loads of different arguments used against veganism, and how to counter them.

Though there really isn’t any new-to-me information here, I appreciate the ease of finding counter arguments on specific topics, and how you don’t have to read the book from start to finish. The book does what it intends to do quite perfectly, and you certainly don’t have to be vegan to find it useful!
