The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams
2.0
The Bromance Book Club started off with great promise, capturing my interest from the beginning. However, I became increasingly frustrated with the characters in the second half of the book. Thea's emotional barriers seemed impenetrable, leaving me doubtful that she would ever let them down. Gavin's feeble attempts at resolving their issues began to grate on my nerves.
The chemistry between the two characters felt lacking, and I found myself indifferent to whether they would reconcile or not. Frankly, I resorted to skimming through the pages during the final quarter, as I had lost interest in what would unfold next. While I contemplated abandoning the book altogether, I felt compelled to push through since I had already invested in reading three quarters of it. This book was just not my cup of tea.
