The Summer I Destroyed You is book 4 in the Summer Series by Elizabeth O' Roark. It follows the story of Emmy and Liam. I loved Liam and his character and integrity. His character was the perfect balance to Emmy who had her walls up (for good reason) and was intent on revenge. At first I didn't like Emmy as a character, but once you get into the story you understand why she is the way she is. I loved the development of her character and how she changed from the beginning to the end.

I really enjoyed their love story and the depth that this story had.

I listened to this on audio and Samantha Brentmoor and JF Harding did a FANTASTIC job bringing these characters and their story to life. It was told in DUET narration! I highly recommend this on audio!
