The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
5.0
Well that was a rollercoaster. I spent the first half of the book not that interested and felt like I could put it down and not care if I picked it back up. By the last third of the book, it needed to be pried from my hands so I would go to bed.
This book was beautiful, heart-wrenching, and a testament to how women not only survive, but pick up the pieces and move forward. While there were a couple plot points that felt very intentional in going for the heartstrings unnecessarily, the book as whole was an incredible story and well worth the read.
