Well, I still think Osman's writing style is... unusual and I'm still not a fan. If you thought the last book was crazy, it wasn't. Characters were okay, I don't particularly appreciate it when there are too many couples illegal stuff was not (I cannot stress enough how much I hate that this is normalized) and he could have gone easier on the innuendo but pretty much a meh book.
