If you love the first trilogy, you should like this one just as much. I certainly do. It's always a pleasure to see the original characters, and the new ones are just as interesting to follow.

Robin LaFevers writes in a way I simply love. She can mix history, magic, court intrigues, romance, bonds or even tragedy in an efficient and engrossing manner. When I read her books, I can't help but love the characters. The good and the bad guys are both cunning and resourceful. It makes the story all the more exciting.
