First of all, whoever is advertising this as a thriller is hurting the book. This is a mystery w family drama and the aftermath of losing a parent. Not a thriller. 

But I still really enjoyed this book. I loved our main character and her relationship with her brother. I loved reading about the past of her dad even if the relationships are far from conventional. 

The ending was a little unexpected but also not. And I’m ok with that. Loved it.
