Under Loch and Key by Lana Ferguson
5.0
This was a fun story with a dash of paranormal. I’d say that if you are reluctant to try paranormal, but want to try it out, then this book would be perfect because it wasn’t too much. The characters were great, Lachlan and Key were wonderful. I really enjoyed Key as a character. She was so optimistic and positive that it brought a smile to my face, and I just felt she would be a great person. Lachlan was also fantastic, a little grumpy but exactly how I imagine someone in his position would be. The tension between the two was top notch and really hit the mark for me. It just worked. When they finally came together it was wonderful. The spice was well done and exactly what I expected from this author. She writes spice well and does a good job with it.
I listened to this one on audio and it was fantastic. Both narrators were great, though I will say that Lachlan’s was perfect because he read it with an accent. Just perfection. They really did a great job of bringing the characters to life and making me feel like a part of the story.
