This is one of those ‘I’m a mood reader who at one point in their life decided they were into this based on the author alone and yet when actually perusing it discovered that the general premise was not in fact designed for me or even ever made with me in mind’ kinda pickup-putdown and we are going to treat it as a Learning Moment.
