Catch-22 by Joseph Heller
5.0
I honestly did not expect to understand this book, because I usually read classics to challenge myself, and for me, it's usually more difficult to comprehend. But, this was one of the few classics that made so much sense to me.
It's supposed to be a funny book, and it really was. I didn't think that I would laugh at it, but some of the stuff in there just contradicted itself or was just really funny for no reason, and I feel like it made the book easier to follow and kept me reading for longer amounts of time.
The character development was also super interesting, and the way the author set up the book and the chapters were also really cool.
This read was super entertaining and hilarious, and it still was super in-depth and gave you a lot to analyze. I would very much recommend this.
