The final book in the Hot Cannoli series was intriguing. A suspense/mystery involving the quiet cousin Tito who came to live on the Cannoli compound. Turns out he was feeling from New York after he was attacked one night.

He’s been receiving threatening messages that make him think the attack wasn’t random and the attackers weren’t done. Finally ready to ask for help he turns to Uncle Ricky, a detective with the Sacramento Police, who in turn brings in Ari, an officer with the Hate Crimes task force, which coincides with attacks that have started against local drag queens.

These two have chemistry, and as their lives intertwine due to the crimes and Tito’s desire to help put a stop to the violence, they become closer and closer.

I liked the premise, and both Tito and Ari are really great guys. I did miss the Cannoli clan which wasn’t as present in this one, but we got a pretty cute and discerning cat that kinda makes up for it.
