This was a 4.5⭐️ for me; loved so much of it!! The audio was top notch (dual narration!). The world was fun (although I live in fear of a Jennifer Armentrout situation with the vampires), and the vampire bits didn’t give me the ick. Loved the MMC and FMC dynamic, but Carrion wins the book for me. I took half a star because, well, so much of the story is kind of unoriginal. And in a fantasy, I’m hoping for some unique world elements. But I can’t wait for the next one to be released next year!
