DNF, unfortunately. The writing was so good, and Dickens and Collins were delightful curmudgeons with little self-awareness. I enjoyed their friendship quite a bit. There were legitimate creeps had, and the underground of London was a fantastical creation. The problem was the pacing. This could be a much shorter book. Maybe I will pick it back up again someday.
